Title: A spooky good time!
Review: My son and I played a round of this last night and we both had a really good time. Like a majority of games like this setup and rules can seem a bit daunting at first, however thanks to a built in video tutorial and the included instructions, my son and I were able to play through a round in about 40 minutes and we had a lot of fun doing it. Overall this is five stars and I would highly recommend it. The game is interactive, colorful, has cool monsters and simply fun to play. Drawbacks are everyone needs their own smart device if you decide to play with them and having a winning strategy relies on catching ghosts in the app and making the most out of dice rolls.Unboxing and First impressions:The packaging is fantastic. Very bright, spooky, wonderfully detailed monsters and the box has a cool magnifying glass sort of attached to the box. The whole thing just looks fun. The one thing that tripped me up was actually finding the board. I opened the top and found all of the pieces but when I began setup it starts with the board. The board is very cleverly hidden in a space at the bottom of the box. Where the top opens and exposes all of the pieces, the board is actually in its own space at the bottom.Setup:Initial setup did seem complicated at first however in the written instructions they provide step by step setup of each aspect. So, I opened everything up, popped out whatever tokens and laid everything out to match images in the instructions. There was really an appropriate amount of hand holding here that I really appreciated. My son (8) might not’ve been able to set it up the first time by himself but I bet by our 3rd playthrough he could do it on his own. Also, make sure each player has a smart device with the app installed. Each player interacts through their own device so playing on only 1 isnt an option.Gameplay:Gameplay falls somewhere between a complex version of Clue and Ghostbusters. You’re character moves around the house and grounds and each turn which involves 3 actions is done on a room by room basis. Then, at the end of a turn, you role dice which in certain instances can change up the game play or the board. For example if the green dice shows the “Grand escape”, each player will be tasked, using the app, to catch ghosts in augmented reality. Essentially my son and I, hunted for ghosts in our dining room. Walking around isnt necessary but instead can be done mostly by following an arrow that appears, locating the ghost and then blasting it with your ghost gun. Whoever catches the most is awarded in game bonuses that can impact gameplay in the winners favor. This was probably the most fun we had and creates a nice changeup to gameplay. One other very impactful dice roll, causes all of the ghosts to change rooms. Using your smart device, you prompt the game and ghosts begin moving around the house, again, which you watch on your smart device. They disappear and remembering their locations becomes critical in changing your strategy and catching the ghost you’re after. There are a bit more rules and strategies but nothing too complex that might overwhelm.Final thoughts:If you’re a parent looking for something different or you’re an avid board game player and you’re looking for something to introduce to your children then you definitely cant go wrong here. Ive wanted to get into some of the more complex board games of today but felt theyre a bit much to tackle on my own without guidance. This was a great introductory for me and I feel like I could try other, single player games like this and be just fine. What I liked:Lots of fun. Each game should be fairly quick, 30 min, now that we know what we’re doing.Augmented reality adds a nice change to gameplay and helps bridge the gap between video games and board games for kids.Has two modes of scary. One for little kids and one for bigger kids and adults. What I didnt like:Because augmented reality is a huge part of this game, setup location should be considered. We played at our dining room table and my son (8) spent the entire game standing on a chair so that he could position his smart device at the board. Sitting above the board is necessary. I myself needed to stand up when performing my turn.

Title: Daughter likes it for the monsters
Review: My daughter loves monsters for some reason so when I saw this I figured I would pick it up. It came packaged just fine, with no defects, as far as I could see. Getting it out you get the board, the fantastic monsters, and everything else you would get with a board game. It did take us a few false starts to get the rules down and we had to reference the video they provided to make sure we were doing it right. After getting going we had a ton of fun. The app brings the game to life. A couple of the monsters were a bit too scared for her but we were able to dial it down. All in all, this is a great game and I will break it out around Halloween.

Title: Fun and entertaining, app adds a level that is super fun!
Review: Even the box is interactive. Pretty involved game and a lot to learn, but once there is is really fun. Getting the app to be able to hunt the monsters that get loose into your house is a whole new level of play. All of us running around the house, virtually hunting these guys with our phones was hectic and super fun!Board game meets virtual reality…you just gotta play it to see!Though still waiting for website to be available for the game…hoping they expand it at some point too! This review is for: Micro Games of America⢠Finders Creepers Board Game an App-Vanced⢠Game â Hunt Digital Monsters with your Phone, 2-4 Players, Ages 8+

Review: Well everything about to game screams excitement packaging of the game is just a eye grabber and thats what pulled me in to wanting to review this unfortunately when we went to grab this game and want to play the app was not ready for use. While its a neat idea and this may be a prerelease issue I look forward to the full release of this game as it really does bring some attention to those who are magnets for there phones during game time.

Title: Mobile Board game
Review: This game is so cool and unique! It’s innovative and uses mobile devices to help play. I don’t want to give too much away, but we love it! I find it incredible how companies are finding ways to keep board games relevant while still appealing to the younger generation that likes to use apps.
