Title: Episodes are all here!
Review: I have seen two reviews where it mentioned a few episodes were missing. I have checked my DVDs and the missing episodes mentioned previously are there. David L. Millard on Oct 14, 2023 said that the episode “Youth Takes Over” is missing. On Disc 1 of First Season the menu has the first six episodes. To see the seventh one called “Youth Takes Over”, you need to select “NEXT” to the right of where it says Main Menu.Similarly, T. Murphy on Aug 28, 2023 said “Millie and the great outdoors” on Season 2 Disc 3 was missing. Episodes 14 to 19 are shown on the menu, though when you select “NEXT” you will then see Episode 20 “Millie and the great outdoors”.Hope this review has helped anyone who might be thinking episodes are missing.

Title: Loved this series!
Review: I was always a big Andy Griffith fan and love this spin-off from that show. I had not thought about Mayberry R.F.D. until it popped up while I was checking out Amazon one day. It had been so long since I saw it that all the episodes were new to me. I’ve watched everyone and will now probably start all over again! By the way, do you know what R.F.D. stands for? Rural Free Delivery. Out in the country, we get free delivery to our mailboxes versus paying rent for a box at the post office.

Title: A Nice Place To Visit
Review: Here we have the complete three seasons of Mayberry R.F.D. on DVD. The first season was released some years ago but now it has been incorporated with the rest of the series on this DVD release. This is a spin-off of “The Andy Griffith Show” which ran from 1960 till 1968. After Andy Griffith decided to leave the show the network decided to continue with some of the characters from that series to show up here still set in the town of Mayberry. It’s a rural comedy and might seem a bit tame for today but if you watched the show when it was first broadcast than this is a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The show came to an end in 1971 when all rural comedies from “The Beverly Hillbillies” to “Green Acres” and the like were cancelled due to networks deciding on a major television shift from rural settings to more urban settings. Some performers putting in early appearances in their careers were Farah Fawcett and Jodie Foster. Buddy Foster who played one of the main child characters on the series is the older brother of Jodie Foster. Frances Bavier who had played Aunt Bee on the series since 1960 when the show began left before the final season.Mayberry which is a fictitious town was actually based on Andy Griffiths hometown of Mount Airy in South Carolina. I wonder today if such an idyllic sleepy town still exists. It would be a wonderful place to visit to get away from the rat race and all the hustle and bustle in today’s world.R.F.D in the title of the show stands for Rural Free Delivery. Where a small town had to have it’s people travel to the nearest city to collect their mail before free delivery of their mail was delivered to them beginning back in 1906.

Title: Sit Back and Enjoy 3 Seasons of Mayberry RFD
Review: This was a nice extension of the Andy Griffith show with most of the supporting characters from the last couple of seasons, Goober, Emmett and Howard provide great comic relief. Ken Berry was a perfect fit for the show. Three seasons of comfortable family shows that help me remember those times and provide some short relief today’s problems.

Review: I really enjoyed watching this series. It has the same warmth and integrity of the Andy Griffith Show, with some of the original characters: such as Andy, Aunt Bee, Howard, Goober and Millie to name a few. A delightful series to watch.

Review: I havenât seen this yet, but if seasons 2 and 3 are anything like season 1, it will be great. Iâm just a little upset that after waiting so long, we got the whole 3 season series on dvds. Those of us like myself who had already bought season 1, ended up spending money for something we didnât need or wantâ¦..season 1.

Review: A fun series, with serious issues. At times silly but always in the end makes sense. A story of friends.
