Reprinted for the first time, the world’s smallest comic books—superhero adventures originally printed by Marvel in 1966 and now enlarged to a more readable size—in a seven-book collectible boxed set
In 1966, Marvel printed what the Guinness Book of World Records certified as the world’s smallest comic books. Smaller than a postage stamp, and sold in gumball machines across the country, these six books told the quirky origin stories of Marvel’s most beloved characters at that time: the Amazing Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, the Mighty Thor, Captain America, Sergeant Nick Fury, and Millie the Model.
Marvel Comics Mini-Books reproduces facsimile editions of all six books in one affordable box set—along with a seventh book written by Mark Evanier that details the history and creation of these rare, vintage collectibles.

Title: A Warning – It Will Likely Arrive Damaged
Review: The product itself is fantastic. The presentation of the material is really well done and the bonus book provides cool historical photos, a bit of history, and images in actual size just so people can understand exactly how small these things were. However, do not expect this in pristine condition. My first shipment’s slipcase and books on that side were “smushed”, yet the shipping box was fine. They sent a free replacement. A different area was slightly less “smushed”, along with the books on that side. Each also had a couple of books with dinged corners. I was able to piece together 1 pristine set of books between the two, and will keep the slipcase with the least amount of damage. You should expect the same due to how they are shipped. The modern day warehouse packing of such massive amounts of boxes, from any huge retailer, has a top priority of speed over quality. We’ve all gotten the boxes with air pillows on one side, item on the other. The issue is, the pillows are never tight. The slipcase slides back, then smashes the outer box on impact, on the flat side, while travelling.

Title: Nice little book set
Review: I bought this for my husband for Fatherâs Day and he was very pleased. Itâs a nice little set of reprinted books tiny comic books from the 1960s. The originals were smaller than a postage stamp so thereâs not a whole lot of writing but itâs interesting to see them all magnified. The first volume explains the history of the tiny books. Every tiny book printed is included in this set. Itâs an adorable piece of comic history that is nice to own. If youâre old enough to remember the original tiny books then this will be a delightful journey down memory lane. I think most comic collectors would enjoy this set. My husband certainly has.

Title: WHAT A TRIP!
Review: This collection is amazing. It’s like a jaunt back through time to an early time when Marvel was an upstart publisher and they threw everything at the wall to see what would stick. This modern collection of the mini comics is beautifully constructed and I love it. Fun for fans of Marvel’s early days.

Title: Honestly mid
Review: Unless you know exactly what this is donât buy it. Itâs mainly for die hard collectors and the comics are just big versions of mini comics that were sold in vending machines so the quality of British isnât that good and each mage only has like one sentence on it.
