Slammo is an action packed 2-on-2 game that is similar to volleyball, but with a smaller ball and a circular net. The rules are similar to volleyball where each team has 3 hits to spike the ball into the ankle high circular net. Teams volley back and forth until a team is unable to return the ball to the net. The first team to 21 points win. We engineered an improved design over the competition that provides 100% net coverage and eliminates the hated ‘pocket shot’. The Slammo Set includes two competition size 9cm balls and also one 12cm training ball for beginners or younger players. The game can be quickly assembled and it fits neatly into the included backpack style carrying case. The game is a great workout and much easier to setup than full size volleyball. Recommended for ages 12+.

Title: Great gift for younger kids
Review: We got this game for our 8 year old nephew for his birthday and he was so excited. This game is perfect to get kids outdoors and active. This game is fun and energetic. You can play with many people which is also a plus. I would recommend this game for 8 years and up. The game is easy to set up and the rules are pretty easy to understand. If your looking for a great gift idea to keep your kids active this is something I would recommend.

Title: Great Product for Everyone!
Review: Slammo is definitely worth your time and money! It is exactly how you would expect it to be: fun, original, and fast paced. I did not believe the hype was warranted but, believe me ladies and gentleman, it definitely is. Whether you buy a Spikeball set (its competitor) or a Slammo set, we can both agree that the basic concept for both games is intriguing, to say the least. For those of you who may not know the specifics of the game, it is similar to volleyball, but instead of hitting over a net, you are hitting down on a miniature trampoline net. It is played 2 on 2, with both teams constantly moving and hovering around the net. That being said, you are safe in assuming that Slammo is enjoyed by people who enjoy staying active! First and foremost, despite being named an off brand to Spikeball, the Slammo set arrived in great condition. The net and rim were fully intact, and it came with three slam balls of different sizes. This will give you the option of whether you want to play a fast paced game (small ball) or a slow paced game (big ball). As you may know, Slammo is, essentially, the same game as Spikeball; however, Slammo is 10 dollars cheaper which puts the product at only 40 dollars, making this product more affordable for everyone! I would like to stress to you guys that this is a very safe game to play, creating a fun environment for all ages. In addition, you should not worry if you are new to this game. Slammo is still up and coming; therefore, you will likely find other people to play with that share the same skill set as yourself. Slammo is most popularly played on a beach, but you can play the game anywhere where there is soft ground. With that said you can fold the Slammo set and put it in a bag, making it a prime traveling product for you! You can take this to your work and play on your breaks, or you could even just head to the local park if the beach is out of reach to you. All in all, I personally think this product would be a great buy for anyone who enjoys living a dynamic lifestyle. On top of that, it is a very convenient game that can be adjusted for people of all ages and skill sets. If you are looking for a real bang for your buck, then Slammo is definitely worth the buy for you!

Title: Fun game
Review: I purchased this game for my family, and while it is a fun game and easy to learn, the net doesn’t hold as tight as it should to enable the ball to bounce high. All-in-all, it is an enjoyable addition to our family game nights, and I would recommend it.

Title: Just getting the hang of it ⦠THEN – SLAMM-O it was OVER!!
Review: ##UPDATED 7/19/15##We were pleased to hear back from the company in regard to our warped SLAMMO set. We were sent a new set and got it up and ready to play immediately. The kids played on a flatter service – the pavement in the front yard – hoping to avoid any warping or bending of the frame. However, possibly due to sharp stones/rocks on the hard surface, 2 of the balls included in the set popped. We are careful to keep the frame inside and to avoid exposing it to heat or sun – which seems odd for an outdoor/beach game!! The frame is still in good shape, we have one usable SLAMMO ball and the net is getting to be too loose to get really good bounces. Our son received a Spikeball set to replace the warped SLAMMO game and he actually prefers that set since the net stays tight, it doesn’t warp in the sun and the balls haven’t popped. He chose to take the Spikeball game along on our ten day vacation, played it every day and experienced no issues.We greatly appreciate the replacement set from SLAMMO and discovering that they really do support their consumers when issues arise. We just feel uncomfortable in constantly contacting them to repeatedly replace parts/pieces.UPDATE: About a week after our original email contacting this company, we received an email response. The email stated that the company would replace our set, however, we had already sent the warped Slammo set back for a refund.FedEx delivered this Slammo Set on a recent Saturday morning.We gave this to our son for his birthday present a few hours later.We put it together to be played during the birthday gathering that afternoon.6 boys, ages 12-18 played this for most of the party – about 3 hours. A few parents joined in thingsseemed to go well. We all enjoyed playing & watching this fast speed competition. Everything was put away for the night.By Sunday morning things were not well with the Slammo Birthday gift.The black plastic frame was warped and the net was torn in the center.The game is now unplayable and the birthday boy is, understandably, upset.As was suggested in the “Thank You” paper enclosed with the SLAMMO set, we emailed P&P Imports.It mentions contacting them by email before we post negative feedback on Amazon.After getting no response to the email sent on Sunday afternoon, we sent a second email on Tuesday, 5/26.Have not received a reply up to this point.It looks like this set, which seemed to be a terrific value for a super fun activity game, will be returned.We are extremely frustrated, as we researched our options before completing our purchase. We chose GoSports Slammogame rather than the SpikeBall set, due to the reviews we saw posted here, the overall price, the contents included. It seemed likeSlammo had made improvements on the net and the balls, which made this purchase seem like a better set. We remember reading 1 Amazon review which mentioned the warping/twisting of the black ring/frame after they had played for a day. So, apparently, there are at least 2 of us out there who have experienced this issue.Wish it would have worked out.

Review: Really an excellent game. Easy to assemble and extremely fun to play. Plus foe the price, itâs hard to justify spending more on spikeball, the only reason spikeball is more from what I can understand is the name brand. This set of identical in every way, with the only difference being price and colours lol. Really canât speak highly enough of the game, (from a value sense and from it being super fun!) highly reccomend.
