Title: Plug and Dud
Review: We were excited to see this product and thought it might be fun.Tried it on 2 TVâs and a blank on both of them. Neither one acknowledged it was plugged into the HDMI port.Looking for instructions or help with the enclosures? One side is in Chinese and the other in English. Makes no difference since neither one makes any sense. Will leave it plugged in overnight and perhaps it might kick in. The hand held controllers seem ok but the one I placed batteries in continuously flashes red and blue. Again the instructions are non existent as to what that means. Will return if itâs still blank tomorrow. Not sure if we will ask for a replacement or just call it a day with it.Havenât written a review after I was promised kittens and money from the last review years ago about a soundbar. We went to Target and that was indeed plug and play. They hounded us to update our review.Sadâ¦.

Title: Good Game Stick and Games, Few issues.
Review: I love the games, only issue I have is that I noticed that there are a few glitches/bugs in the game. While playing, the characters or objects in the game move or jump on their own without me using the game controller myself. Fix those issues and I would give it a 5 star.

Title: A time machine in a game stick
Review: I never thought about it but the video games I played when I was young are now called retro games. I found some of these retro games are still enjoyable to play again and you may actually feel a little younger when you do. And younger players may be surprised by the games we played years ago.Be warned, this is not like playing video games on an arcade machine or an old game box but many are still playable. There are a lot of positives with this game stick emulator, the main one being able to play retro games again, but there are also some negatives you need to be aware of.The game stick is advertised as having 4K video but the games are actually still in their original low resolution. There is no video upscaling with the game stick to a higher level video. The menu system is in 4K and looks great. The two game controllers are each powered by two AAA batteries and connect to the game stick through a 2.4Ghz USB wireless dongle so they connect pretty well. The problem though with the controllerâs performance is that the controllerâs thumb joysticks are not very good. I had some gaming characters move on the screen without touching the stick and sometimes, when selecting a game in the menu list, the selection highlight box would jump multiple lines. The game stick has a preloaded 64gb microSD card. Actually the card is a TransFlash (TF) card which is basically a faster microSD card. There are supposedly over 20,000 games included of which I am not going to count. It is a bit difficult to find a particular game in the menu because the name of the game you remember playing years ago may no longer be the same name listed in the menu. There is a find option which is great for scanning the menu list by text input. There is also a history function in the menu to replay a game. I tried to make a backup of the microSD card but it appears to be encrypted. So, the games will only last as long as the microSD card can be successfully read and these cards can become non-functional over time. The game stick emulator package comes with everything you need to begin playing a game except a USB power block, if you donât have a USB port on your video display to provide power to the game stick, and four AAA batteries (two for each controller). Remember though, you will need an HDMI input on the video display. Connection is extremely simple. If the game you want to play was also designed for two players, it is nice having the second controller. So what you get for the price, this is an OK product, if you donât expect the type of game play and video quality we have today. This is a gaming emulator with games so you can play the older games of times gone by.

Title: Could be cool, but misses the mark
Review: I’m going to break this down into pros and cons:Pros: You have access to a LOT of games. They run! Plugs in easily. You can favorite games to find them more easily because there’s about 4000 listed games on here. Controllers were really responsive.Cons: Playing anything above SNES is a CRISPY experience, I’m talking the graphics are fuzzy in a bad way, the audio is crunchy, it’s really not great. HORRIBLE lag in some of the games, when trying to play SNES games with world maps, the audio would slow way down when you started walking, which kind of took the gas out of my excitement for some of the games. And most importantly…THIS THING HAS BASICALLY NO RF SHIELDING. If you rely on antenna for your television service, you WILL need to unplug this from both the TV AND the power source or your signal will go out, even with the most powerful commercially-available indoor TV antenna. That’s just how janky this entire system is.Two stars, because there’s no way the FCC approved this thing.
