Title: Use your own screws.
Review: This will work, but you will need to use your own anchor screws or find a stud to drill into and attach the rack through the drywall into the stud using a long screw. I have quite a few hats and it will need the stronger anchoring as it fell right out of the drywall with the pulling on it and the weight of my hats over time.

Review: I had considered the methods to install these on my painted wall and really there was only 1 option to consider as I am a renter. I recommend the 3M command brand X-L sized picture hanging strips. These are heavy weight, rated to 20LBs and are damage free. I installed these the day I received them and have had zero issues. The hat racks are holding firm and working well.
